Summertime madness turns into summertime sadness.
It’s the last weekend of this summer, so get your friends together, enjoy the summer weather that has been announced, dance and listen to some brilliant music.
The weekend kicks off with one of the season’s most anticipated event: Sibiu Medieval Festival. It all starts Friday with the traditional opening parade, on the Cetatii Street. And for the next three days, the Big Square will be brought to life by music, dance, theatre, fire shows and loads of good fun! You’ll get to see participants from Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Serbia, Croatia, and Latvia. Each of the three days, activities start from 9:00 and finish with the last show which starts at 22:30.
We’re very much looking forward to seeing European medieval fight demonstrations, medieval dance shows, medieval weapons, shields, and armors. The old, medieval Sibiu will once again come to life, and for three days you’ll get to see princesses, knights, troubadours, and craftsmen. You can even take part in workshops on sword fighting or medieval cuisine. Fun, right?
Later on, it’s time for some good food and good music at Hilton’s Camara Boierului.
