After 36 years of pure passion for folk music, Florin Thomits will introduce you to a very special part of it, this Wednesday, at Imperium Live.
Thursday, the 13th, at 21:00, it’s time for some jam session with Andrei Dunaev & Moldo & the Live Band karaoke contest finalists – young rising stars, willing to show their love for music!
Friday is all about The Voice of Sibiu – Maria Cojocaru and Alex Petre. Maria Cojocaru is quite popular in Sibiu, after her participation at The Voice Romania. She auditioned barefoot and free of emotions, conquering all 4 judges in exactly 12 seconds with a brilliant interpretation for Janis Joplin’s “Mercedes Benz” . The guitar boy, Alex Petre, first laid hands on the instrument at the age of 9, and from that moment he became unstoppable. In 2012 he joined Horia Brenciu and HB Orchestra for their concerts in Bucharest and Sibiu. Together, they’re going to do an accoustic session this Friday night, 14th April at 21.00.
And least, but not last, this Saturday, April 15th, is going to be a jazzy one at Imperium Live! Vlad Simon & Mihai Pîtan will introduce you to the ’20 with their blues & jazz night! Vlad Simon is also a former The Voice contestant, where he wowed with his vocal and instrumental abilities. And Mihai Pîtan is a well known figure for Sibiu’s music scene, as locals have known and loved his work for quite some time.
So, Imperium Live doesn’t dissapoint, and awaits you with a week full of events. You just have to pick a night!
